As women try to make a lasting positive impact on the people and organizations that they lead, sometimes little girl behaviors creep in and inadvertently detract from our effectiveness. Jane will be sharing 4 of the most frequent little girl behaviors that tend to show up in the leadership behaviors of women and suggest strategies to steer your leadership to the more mature version of those behaviors.

Jane Creswell is an innovator and leader in the field of corporate coaching.  She leveraged 17 years of product development and management experience at IBM to invent the role of "organization Coach", becoming the founder of IBM Coaches Network.  There she focused on achieving extraordinary results by individual coaching of the leaders at all levels.

Currently, Ms. Creswell is utilizing those experiences to help corporations worldwide wanting to establish a long-term, self-sustaining system of internal coaching and reap the benefits of a coaching culture.  Her focus is on helping leaders make the high impact transition from merely influencing others, to developing excellent leaders who develop excellent leaders.  Jane's work can be characterized as maximizing the strengths and knowledge of individuals for the benefit of both the person and the organization.  She has worked with executives and head coaches in several corporations.  In 2009, she was the managing director for Purdue University's Organizational Leadership Development Lab.

Ms. Creswell enjoys speaking at conferences to inspire other corporate coaches and corporate employees.  Speaking at the World Business and Executive Coaching Summit, in 2014, was one of her great honors.  Multiple articles have been published about her internal coaching work, including in Time Magazine.  Jane has authored two books, including The Complete Idiot's Guide to Coaching for Excellence and Christ-Centered Coaching: 7 Benefits for Ministry Leaders.  She has been the recipient of multiple awards and specializes in:

  • Conversational Intelligence-the brain science of conversation

  • Mentor Coaching and Consulting to create a Coaching Culture

  • Complex Team Coaching Initiatives

  • Facilitating executives to identify and use Patterns of High Performance
