The Do's & Don'ts of Employee Handbooks
Helping you Manage your Most Valuable Asset

In today’s fast-changing employment environment, clarity in your Employee Handbook is of paramount importance. Join AWBO at our April meeting to learn some do’s and dont’s from industry expert Debra Elsner.

Speaker: Debra L. Elsner, Owner, Personnel Matters

Debbie Elsner was born and educated in Albany, NY where she attended Maria College. She met her husband Jim, in high school. They have a son, Mark, and four grandchildren.

Elsner began her career in HR in 1981 as she went through training to fill in for someone who was on maternity leave. She continued to work directly in HR for many years including helping other United Way Agencies while she was director of the American Red Cross. Upon retirement from Red Cross, she opened up her own business, Personnel Matters, in 2009. She is currently in negotiation to sell the business and will semi-retire, but recognizing that she's not able to sit still for too long, she has also taken a job as Operations Director at Bee Hive Homes, a memory care facility in Lafayette.

RSVP on Facebook to help spread the word!

Thank you to Voltisa Vasili of V's Delicacies for donating our speaker gift this month.
